Not a band from the local state of Virginia, We The Collectors is a band that originated in Glendale, Arizona. A 6 piece post-hardcore band, it has the feel of Woe, Is Me and Like Moths to Flames, something that I personally enjoy.
Formed in November 2011, it consists of the band members Joey Holiday (Clean Vocals), Adam Ramey (Dirty Vocals), Daniel Hitchcock (Guitar), Chucky Guzman (Guitar), Tre Scott (Bass, Piano, Programming), and Corey Matayabas (Drums). With diverse background comes with different perspectives, sounds, and influences as a band, which gives it a unique blend from their songs.
They not only do this as a hobby, but rather as a passion to help influence their fans through music through hard times, which shows out a lot through their music. This shows something, to help their fans through music to never give up and to know that they have been in those situations as well. It's really relatable and the beats are pretty catchy, to my point of view.
Here are some of the songs that they have made:
Survival of the Fakest: Reminds me of heavy and fake friendships and relationships when it comes to this song. The tone of this is definitely quite heavy, which describes a lot of pain, anger, and lonliness throughout from the burden. This truly, is the survival of the fakest.

The Burden of Memory: A good start, soft, melodic feel that describes the darkness of burden so carefully and then progresses into the angst (thanks to the guitar), I can personally call this my internal song because everybody has that internal struggle of bad memories within us.

Brothers Don't Betray: You think it's a song that portrays unity and friendship throughout, but this song describes the crumbling of friendship, how people change and how things were not meant to be anymore, no matter how close the connection, no matter how long have friends have known each other.
