Vera Zasulich's prefered model of gun used during his attempted assassination of Col. Theodor Trepov.

Trepov was the governor of St. Petersburg at the time and was famous for his suppression of the Polish rebellions years before. Most recently, he had ordered a political prisoner to be flogged for not removing his cap in Trepov's presence.

The court sided with Vera, and she fled before they could figure out what to do with her.
