Phoenix of the Forest

That was apparently what the Latin scientific name meant.
It was thankfully a cloudy day, and we had the ideal diffused lighting for this shot. Against the sky, it wouldβve normally needed a bit of positive compensation to brighten up the underside of the tree canopy. But the metering in the 12-year-old camera hadnβt been working well of late, and so, the image had somehow come out fine without any exposure compensation.
