Walking San Francisco & Thinking Out Loud I was attracted to the bright tropical colors of the artwork on the truck and the reflection in that window . .. new customers kept coming up to the service window so I snapped this, took a walk to some other booths and when I came back later I talked with Adela Jacobson, the franchisee for Kona Ice of North Marin. She knows some interesting people and has some stories to tell about where she started out and how she got to here. Adela is doing great with the franchise but what really resonated with me is when she said "I love the happy looks on my customer's faces when they taste my products" .. . Walking San Francisco & Thinking Out Loud I figured that every #instasf photographer would be at the "Carnival in the Mission" today but I had unfinished business to wrap up at Treasurefest. Then I went for a walk looking for colorful or interesting displays or someone to lure me in to sell me something. Plus, I was looking for feedback on the blogs and photos I posted from last month. I'm also looking for people I can work with to cross promote our products. Likha caught my eye for their merchandising. The display looked like it belonged in it's own department in a #crateandbarrel or #potterybarn store. "Nathalie and her husband Patrick Lim were in banking and finance. They came up with a sustainable social impact model that is worth reading about and they won an award at last Summer's NY NOW, the premier retail market trade show in the United States", according to Momar G. If there is a street fair happening I want to take people there for photos on half day or full day photo-shoot tours but I also want a mix of landscape photo-stops mixed in. No one should end their visit to San Francisco without a picture like this one with the Golden Gate Bridge. The East Coast has The Statue of Liberty and the West Coast has The Golden Gate Bridge.
