Ā Ā Ā Ā HIS HIGHEST PRIORITY right now is information gathering; learning, listening, observing the new world around him in hopes of discovering the purpose of his sudden placement here. heās asked ( in a not so polite way ) some villagers outright a few times how they got here, but they all say the same thing. they donāt know, theyāre just as confused as he is, or the occasional remark on his... less than friendly demeanor. as if that matters in any way shape or form. it isnāt as if heās here to make FRIENDS, after all. he doesnāt have friends to begin with, but if he did, surely it wouldnāt be with such useless people.
Ā Ā Ā one thing he has successfully garnered from his nearly pointless interactions is that thereās something strange, unexplainableĀ about a particular statue that the locals callĀ ādiaidem.ā as he approaches the chateau where it stands, a feeling of unease grows inside of him. countless people sit inside the crystalline palace, offering prayers to the... almost familiar statue that sits in the center. itās grotesque, the way she weeps and extends her arms out to those who face her. furthermore, it tells him nothing, and yet he canāt seem to stop leering at her tearful expression.Ā
Ā Ā Ā itās only when someone comes to a stop beside him that heĀ ( reluctantlyĀ )Ā pulls his gaze away.
Ā Ā Ā thereās nothing outstanding about the stranger at a glance. another face, almost certainly another useless local who knew nothing regarding her appearance here. even so,Ā (Ā perhaps due the influence of an emotion he canāt quite placeĀ )Ā he decides to strike up conversation--she may know nothing, but she can at least tell him whether sheās experiencing the same off putting sensation he is in the presence of diaidem. it isnāt that he cares really, but... heās curious.
Ā Ā Ā ā hey, old lady. ā ever the charmer.Ā ā what do you make of this thing?Ā does it.. make you feel weird?Ā ā
