Our oppression can start early in childhood with compliance. . It can be snuffed out when our creativity and imagination become “bad”. . It can be to please a domineering parent. . It can be out of abandonment or fear of abandonment. . And of course, it can be dictated by family structures, culture and society. . No matter which way oppression comes our way we rectify this by learning how to illuminate from the inside out. . It is in our own illumination that our freedom is no longer dependent on the approval of the oppression.
