It had been a long exhausting day at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital for Graciella. She’d been on her feet all day, spending most of it in the operating room and the rest of it on the pediatrics ward. Graciella loved being on the pediatrics ward, but it had been completely full today and she had been running between codes, pages and surgery all day. After a day like that, she really needed a drink. Pushing the door open Graciella slid into Joe’s Bar and started looking around for a familiar face. The last days, or the last week even, had been rough for a lot of the hospital staff and most of them usually came to Joe’s after a rough day, so Graciella figured she would find someone. However, no one she knew well was in sight. Not letting that stop her from having a drink Graciella headed up to the bar and took a seat on a bar stool. “Hi. Could I have a gin and tonic, please?” Graciella asked Joe with a friendly smile on her face and then started taking off her jacket. As she did so she accidently hit someone with her arm movements. Swiftly she turned to face who she had hit. “I’m so sorry, I was just taking off my jacket I didn’t mean to-” Graciella interrupted heself as she noticed who it was and went quiet as the shyness in her took over.
