as long as it's clear that it's unnatural and a problem (which an attitude like that is in real life) it's okay!!! but i see a lot of people making OCs for the sake of shipping where they have their character being perfectly happy being exactly what the canon character wants (or being exactly like them) as if it's reasonable that they never disagree (or if they do the OC is immediately willing to go against any personal convictions because ~*TRUE LOVE IS MORE IMPORTANT*~)
