It really is. And you’d think, after probably growing up like most of the community did, questioning and doubting ourselves and thinking something was wrong with us, and being treated like shit for being who we are, they’d be understanding of the people going through the same process, even if it’s a bit later in life than their experience was. To not only take pleasure in someone’s discomfort with and uncertainty about themselves, but to actively seek to cause that discomfort and uncertainty is just despicable and shitty. It’s shitty for anyone to do that, but more so for someone who knows how it feels.

Yeah, it’s a spectacularly shitty thing to do, and it’s not going to be a healthy relationship if you’re pushing someone outside their comfort zone and you’re pretty much working to convince them they want to be with you. It’s just really awful, and you can’t even say anything to them when they brag about it because they’re fucking proud of themselves for how uncomfortable they’re making other people. -___-
