I’m in a rant-y mood so I’m gonna talk a bit more

Jin is the most unfortunate case if you ask me. He’s not lacking in looks. He’s clearing a top visual but he’s not as hyper as the others? He doesn’t have a very strong presence? He gets mostly (beautiful) harmonizing parts in songs and very rarely his own solo singing? He works to hard to dance as keep up with the others and does a great job imo but no one recognizes it?

And you know, I think Jin shouldn’t try to be more outgoing than he already is. He’s plenty charming beautiful and talented. But he’s different from the others and instead of pushing him backwards in these albums they need to help him find a spot of his own to shine. But no one in bighit’s marketing team is THINKING about how to make Jin shine as much as he deserves.

Like, purposely fit in vocal parts that would fit Jin’s abilities. Or cast him in a drama. Or just give him something in which he gets some solo promotion. Or a chance for him to show us more of himself. I know I’m  saying a lot of controversal things and I’m gonna continue because I hope that all of you know that I adore and appreciate all that is Jin and this is definitely not putting him down in any way. He just seems like a housewife with potential? LIKE COMPLETELY UNDERVALUED WITH SO MUCH POTENTIAL BUT NOT GETTING A CHANCE TO SHINE. Like he’s so barely ever in center stage the only times he is is when they’re using his visual but in a team with tae and jungkook he doesn’t stand out as much SO JUST FREAKIN MARKET JIN PROPERLY BIGHIT ILL FIGHT YOU

And for namjoon. God. namjoon is just so amazing like bts wouldnt even EXIST without him and yet he’s the target of so many haters and for what? it’s always insecure people going after him and shit like do you not understand or appreciate how much of bts he is. im not targetting anyone but fans of maknae line are often way more into like their sorta high school crush sorta charms but imo namjoon is just so... his charm is more mellow but so rich. his thoughts and contributions are so deep and it takes someone with a lot of likewise way of thinking to be able to appreciate him. maybe that’s why he doesn’t have as many fans and has so many ppl misunderstanding him. idk. but i can bet you anything if in an AU where namjoon had tae’s face things would be very different. not that namjoon isn’t aesthetic but if he was top aesthetic, i can bet you he’d have shit tons more attention. because this is the world we live in.

and then we have hoseok

who’s probably the 2nd most undervalued member after Jin. Whereas namjoon has had some chance to promote himself on variety like Problematic Men and he’s had the chance to produce some mixtapes and contribute to things and make a name for himself. Hoseok is not being allowed to shine as much, despite being SO talented. I didn’t even KNOW he was such a good dancer before I got into BTS.
