Brighton UK 2020 🇬🇧 Van update: I am currently in that mind numbing and never ending process of repairing all the holes and scratches and rustproofing them. It is taking a while mostly because any spot that may be vaguely thinking about rusting in the future has been tackled, with excess overkill! Also been thinking about various layouts for the van and trying to gauge the space requirements needed using two old sleeping mats. I’m liking the L shape layout at the moment as it will leave space for a fair size kitchen. Brighton UK 2020 🇬🇧 Van update: Managed to install the reversing camera screen and wire it up. I can now see what is behind me! Wired it into the positive feed from the interior light with a little switch on the right switch it on and off. The idea is to switch it on only when needed but I tend to leave it on whilst driving so I can see how close other cars are behind me. I’m thinking of wiring it into the cigarette lighter instead so it switches off with the ignition. Brighton UK 2020 🇬🇧 Van update: New van! Bought a teeny tiny transit van. It is an older model van (mk7) compared to my custom which had been written off. It looks in good condition and well looked after. Now for the time consuming and really boring task of removing the ply lining and fixing the “builder scars” inside.
