One of the most wonderful things about my life is that my adventures let me meet all sorts of incredible humans!! And make any number of unexpected connections! Here’s a really just joyous shot from the Creating Change conference last year in Dallas. I was there to represent the Smith College School for Social Work as an Assistant Director of Admissions there. And as luck would have it I got to meet in person another trans improviser named Rocky Lane! I had previously been introduced to Rocky online through a former teacher (and long time friend of mine from Second City, the fantabulous Tom Booker! Rocky does incredible work himself, working for the trans community. And I very much hope that one day we will have the chance to work and improvise together for a little longer than it took to excitedly collide for this photo!!
