This is why I only read fics with Blanket Permission

There are 125+ people in this fandom with blanket permission and I FALL IN LOVE WITH THE PERFECT FIC FROM AN AUTHOR WHO IS OF COURSE NOT ON THAT LIST.

I've been looking for the exact right fic to podfic. My standards are VERY EXACTING in this case. After MUCH SEARCHING I found something that comes as close as I'm going to get without writing this myself. I really want to record it. I love it and it is pretty close to perfect.

So.......of course the author has no Transformative Works statement and no alternative means of contacting them listed in their profile. Which means if I want to do this I either need to ask publicly via fic comment, which I don't like doing for Reasons OR I have to try to track them down across the entire internet. And I *still* might get a no or a no response.

Transformative Works Statements, fen. Have them, use them, love them.
