So, I’m going to need you to provide and explain to me why the Transmasc community is to blame of about 10 consecutive, official and statistical sources that aren’t just opinion posts for your claims that “Transmascs get fucking paid more” and have it better, when my masc-presenting partner literally got told to their face by their employers that, even though they have SEVERAL YEARS of experience, that they don’t deserve a livable wage. Who has gotten fired for being openly queer. My partner who is scared to socially transition at work until we’re in a country with more, solid protections for ALL OF OUR community because of how it could affect their ability to keep a job.
Go on. Fucking prove to me that a Transmasc or Masc-presenting non-binary people have it any better than you. Because when I search for the information in multiple rephrasings, all that comes up is that BOTH OF YOU are getting paid roughly 30% LESS than CISGENDER people and trans women are paid 10 CENTS LESS. Which I’m sorry, while it’s definitely an important issue, Transmascs don’t control who is getting paid, payroll does, and this is not enough of a gap between you two specifically to be HATING AND SILENCING A GROUP OF PEOPLE over INSTEAD OF ORGANIZING AGAINST THE RICH, ABLED, CONSERVATIVE, WHITE MAN WHO CONTROLS ALL THE DAMN MONEY FOR FUCK SAKE. Which seems to be the bigger picture you should be empathizing through. That’s like a cent difference I wouldn’t even notice in my already-shit $200 paychecks I got before I was fired, but at least I know it’s the employers that are the ones paying me shit, not my male coworker on the same lowest level on the hierarchy as me. Him and I can talk about it, but in the end, we should both be going to the man and demanding a change because, unfortunately, they’re in control. That’s called Unionizing. It’s the same basic fucking premise. So, explain this to me when, just like Trans women and fems or feminine non-binary people, they are ALSO fetishized, preyed upon, and I’ve read some of their stories about their experiences in forced sex work (sexual abuse isn’t gendered, by the way, and especially queer men, have been forced into this work as well), misgendered — and therefore, DO and HAVE ALSO experienced misogyny, because conservative cis people still view and treat them as women and, this should be fucking obvious, a lot of them DIDN’T ALWAYS KNOW THEY WERE TRANS, so DUH THEY KNOW WHAT IT’S LIKE — and threatened every single day, When Transmascs ABSOLUTELY face scrutiny and discrimination from coworkers and employers for transitioning socially AND/OR physically. Like sure, there are probably be some IMPORTANT differences in your oppression, but SOME ARE CONNECTED AND THEY DO OVERLAP AND THEY CAN BE APPLIED TO BOTH OF YOU AND BE HAPPENING TO BOTH OF YOU AT THE SAME TIME. You can’t just fucking say shit like that without a source. I fucking invite you to educate me.
Because as far as I can see, you’re incapable of recognizing the nuance of the shittiness you contribute to or the privileges you have received. In doing so, you just help perpetuate the narratives of people who want us ALL dead by participating in minority on minority hate, do you fucking understand the severity of this? Not to mention, getting hate from YOUR OWN COMMUNITY is so incredibly silencing and it makes you WORSE THAN CONSERVATIVES in my opinion and so a lot of Transmasc people probably aren’t even SPEAKING UP about their experiences. While you’re at it, why don’t you do some research about what it’s actually like to live in the USA and how the propaganda this stolen country feeds every other fucking country about how “rich and well off” we all are affects how the world treats and generalizes us. The Chinese people of the RedNote app have already woken up to it because they actually talked to us and asked us questions to get to know how the country actually works. People were literally willingly posting their bank accounts to prove it — even though we’re told by our government they’re trying to steal our information. And we learned about theirs and shed propaganda and stereotypes too.

My partner and I would LOVE to move to an 2SLGBTQIIA+ safe country like Portugal, as it is implied you fucking brag about in your BIO, and have or received the money it takes to do that. Guess what, we’ve been fucking TRYING to save up to get to one.
We want to move to Scandinavia. You wanna know what has happened in our lives that makes it almost impossible?
We can’t even afford $600 in rent and we are about 2-3 months behind. It used to be $750+. We both got fired a month apart from each other. We paid attorneys that didn’t do jack shit for months before cutting it off because the car dealership got to us for a repo that was their fucking fault in the first place and ended up paying the damn dealers too. We’re required to have car insurance for OTHER people by law to drive on our roads. It is about $200, close to $400 to get it reinstated and then $200 a month. We haven’t been able to pay it so my partner is not even supposed to be driving right now. They have to go to court every month to tell the judge they don’t have the money. It costs $160 every god damn time and they’re on their final continuance after about 5. Groceries and gas together here are expensive. Our pets have been needing a lot of treatment which costs a lot here. We have to ask for help from family and they can’t always fucking help and it isn’t enough to catch up because they’re also losing jobs and don’t make enough.
Just because people pay thousands in rent, doesn’t mean they can just up and fucking leave. Most of the time, it means they have roommates to make it cheaper and they’re putting everything they have into rent and getting by. Our pay isn’t adjusting for inflation.
Just because some transmasc people are getting treatment they deserve, that doesn’t mean they all are and it ALSO doesn’t mean that all transfem people AREN’T getting treatment they deserve. It means the majority of us 2SLGBTQIIA+ folk cannot afford basic necessities. Which is none of our fucking faults. It is the SYSTEM.
The majority of people in the U.S. barely even make it paycheck to paycheck. And it is fucking worse if you are a or even a combination of multiple hated and oppressed minority. Which NEWS FLASH, ALL OF US that aren’t rich, abled, white CISGENDER men are minorities.
Hating on your fellow queer community is fucking disgusting and it shows complete lack of understanding or willingness to learn. You need to learn how to be a decent fucking human being. It is not hard at all.
The problem is the fucking system. Turn your hatred to those in power who oppress us and turn our beautiful community against each other.
Damn it, all of you. You CAN support both sides AND STOP GENERALIZING AND SILENCING AN ENTIRE GROUP OF PEOPLE LIKE OUR OPPRESSORS DO, AND raise awareness for the shitty things SOME, NOT ALL, trans people of either side say or think about the other, you all do know that right? You can do all of that simultaneously. Do I need to pull out the Markiplier jingle-jangle backrooms ADHD keys? You don’t need to “shut up about it”, you need to acknowledge the nuance, the ways you yourself are perpetuating cycles and being assholes, and fucking reframe your approach because you, too, are GENERALIZING A GROUP OF PEOPLE and NOT JUST CALLING OUT THE PEOPLE WHO SAID OR DID THE SHITTY THING IN THE FIRST PLACE. There’s absolutely nothing fucking stopping you except ideologies created by conservative christians that divide us and that we all need to shed. And frankly, the superiority thing is creepy and dangerous on both fucking ends and y’all need to cut that shit out.
As a panromantic person, I see and wish the best for both of you. Trans women/fems AND Trans men/mascs both deserve to be able to get to a safe place in the world and receive gender-affirming care. A lot of BOTH of you cannot afford it and have to resort to fundraisers for basic living expenses. You both deserve fucking equal respect and decency, not only from cis people, but from your own trans umbrella community. We’re going to get NOWHERE in your movement if the oppressors can munch on their popcorn, watching y’all be ignorant of each others’ experiences and dividing us up even further.
That’s what they fucking want. Stop perpetuating the cycle.
Being queer doesn’t automatically make you a good person, but hating each other and invalidating each others’ experiences makes you no fucking better than Christian conservatives and in fact, it makes you 10x worse because it just does NOT need to be happening. I am judging the hell out of all of you, while also fighting for both of your damn rights to exist between you like a friend whose two friends that hate each other for some fucking reason you weren’t there for. Your rights are connected like a web to each other and the community as a whole, fucking treat each other like it.
