Since it's national coming out day I thought I would share my coming out story. Let's go. It was back in May when I decided to come out. I knew my grandparents might be accepting of trans people so I decided to do it. I was walking with my grandpa complaining about how I couldn't get swimming trunks. My grandpa asked "do you feel like a boy?" My heart started racing and my face went pale. I took a deep breath and said "Yes". He replied with "Ok, I support you." We told my grandma after we got back. My grandparents told my dad [which is not ok]. He said he supports me. A month and a bit later I get my first binder. Sat. I'm going to see a gender therapist. I'm glad I came out. Coming out is a great feeling but make sure you're safe. Never come out if you don't want to. I'm proud of the people who have come out. You guys are strong and brave. I'm also proud of the people who haven't or don't want to. You guys are also strong and brave. Love who you love, be who you are and never let anyone tell you otherwise. -Mod Oliver
