I am starting to pack (light) and get ready for my travels to Europe for a 4 week sabbatical. Thank you Wertz & Company. Half the trip with a group of friends touring eastern Europe (Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic) and half with my 22 year old daughter Leah (Prague-Czech Republic to Paris-France via Budapest-Hungary, Michalovce-Slovakia, Vienna, Lucerne-Switzerland and Amsterdam). Europe Itinerary: 10/1 Arrive Warsaw, Poland 10/2 Warsaw, Poland 10/3-5 Krakow, Poland 10/6 Krakow to Budapest (drive through Slovakia) 10/7 Budapest, Hungary 10/8 Budapest to Bratslava to Prague 10/9-12 Prague, Czech Republic 10/11 Prague (SHM travelers depart, Leah arrives) 10/13 Prague to Budapest 10/14 Budapest – Michalosve (day trip by car) 10/15 Budapest to Vienna, Austria 10/16 Vienna, Austria 10/17 Vienna to Lucerne, Switzerland 10/18 Lucerne (night train to Amsterdam) 10/19-21 Amsterdam, Netherlands 10/22 Amsterdam to Paris 10/23-25 Paris, France 10/26 Depart for home

We tested our new ice cream maker last night with Lara and Nathaniel.  Made two batches, Chocolate Gelato and Strawberry Limoncello Gelato.  Both were "to die for".  Difference between ice cream and gelato--ice cream has more fat and air churned into it.
