not sure if you've ever answered this before but since you said you wanted more UD asks: which ending is your favorite, or the "canon" one to you? I know there's no actual canon ending but it's fun seeing which one people prefer!
I had to sit and think on this one for a minute because it's a really great question!
When the game first came out, my favourite ending and the one that I generally considered "canon" was the "everybody lives" ending. Since it is a video game, I still think that this is the "good" ending intended by the developers.
That being said, if it was a MOVIE, I think that the ending that would make the most sense would be Sam as the sole survivor, maybe Mike is there too.
BUT these days, my favourite endings to think about are the ones with the most drama. Ashley and Emily as only survivors. Jess as the sole survivor. Things like that where there's so much to think about! I love it.
