Phinneas T Phogg poses for a photo at #pikeplacemarket. Phinneas, a 24-year-old Congo African Grey Parrot, knows at least 15 unique behaviors and performs twice daily at the market with his owner. His repertoire includes meowing, barking, playing dead, dancing, catcalls, somersaults... and being gently tossed from hand to hand for "bird juggling"! His owner attributes their bond and his bird's trust in their unique routine to have hand-raised Phinneas since before his feathers came in. He's fully flighted but hangs out happily on his human's shoulder in the crowded market - except when he swoops overhead as part of their big finale.
