lance does not like blue. he will never like blue. but, of the four kanto dexholders, i think she's the one he respects the most. yellow may have eyes like his, but blue is the one most like lance. she's the one willing to make the truly hard choices, to accept the ends justify the means. she's suffered and come out stronger for it, and i think there's an intimate understanding between the two of them that sometimes you have to get your hands bloody to protect the things you care about that the other three never internalized (pokespe specific stuff)

i think conversely, blue understands lance's rage. she's filled with the same rage. blue's just better at not letting it consume her the way lance let it consume him.

i think they eventually reach a point where they don't trust each other with themselves, but they do trust each other to work together for a common goal if needed

i think they both got nabbed by the masked man as children when they were five, and while they tried to remember their names, at some point they forgot which of them was blue and which was not so they decided to both be blue and lost the other's name

they switch places a lot, mostly bc they think it's funny to confuse people. this means they share their team as well. they've learned to communicate without words to ensure they can keep up the act

i think they're very protective of each other. outside of silver and their pokemon, they're all the other has.

I think Ree feels really stupid for how they lashed out at blue as a kid. They know that they were just reacting out of fear, but as Ree matured a little bit they really did worry Blue would never forgive them.

now that they’re older and can sort of handle themself now, I think Blue would wanna make up for lost time. Treat Ree like the kid they deserved to be growing up. Take them out and remind them it’s okay to be loved.

I think. Maybe. When Ree was still a kid directly post-skull, Blue suggested they get Ree a Rockruff and Ree freaked out at her because they still weren’t over the loss of Rocky.

"It's so boring lately – don't you think so?" They haven't seen any action recently, it kind of felt like they were being left out of all the action. Surely some cool missions had to be happening somewhere?
