#trailtrees

So, as some of you know here in Tumblr - and I really hope I can reach some of you - a warrior cats role-playing game was recently announced, marked with a released Opening (2026.06.16.) on Discord, named Trail Trees. For your information, it took place in an imaginary place, relatively in South America, with unique beliefs and naming systems.

I liked the idea that, although related to Warrior Cats, an independent role-playing server would open up that I could be a part of, full of potential. And I wasn't the only one. Ready for a full game, 15-20 people gathered and we couldn't wait to start, either with our own OC or with adoptable characters in a developed, new world, with new rules, new learning opportunities, and even things we might not have even thought about.

The time finally came, the opening was over. We were waiting for something to happen from the organizers; an announcement, another link to start the roleplay, acceptance of characters. But nothing happened; one of our members asked if everything was okay, saying that they were just worried and didn't want to rush the process or anything - the answer was, a few days later, that the server was closed; no statement, no apology, just as suddenly as it was announced, it was gone. I tried to get in touch with one of the organizers, but they didn't accept messages or friend requests. I visited @trailtrees on Tumblr, but they had already deleted everything by then.

Confused and pretty mad for a few days, because I didn't understand how they could let so many people down, I had enough time to think. I know that a relatively long time has passed, considering that anyone who wanted answers may have already received them (seeing that the server was closed), so this may not reach them, but I genuinely hope, it will. I know that the server they developed, if they developed it, probably cannot be replicated or made the same - but maybe it doesn't need to. With some research, I genuinely believe, it's possible to make something new, something even better from these pieces.

In the next few days, I will organize a role-playing game, modeled after, but not based on Trail Trees.* I don't know how long it will take me to announce the opening, but in the meantime, I happily welcome anyone to DM me who might be interested. Maybe I'll make another account for this purpose, but until then, I apologize to everyone for my messy, a bit dark blog!
