I love tracking inspiration! Years ago I read a fabulous book by Clifton Fadiman, where he talked about “the great conversation,” carried out between writers—and I will add, creatives—of all ages. I just finished reading “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” and it was delightful to find little references and inspiration scattered everywhere! For example, did you know that the love juice flower was actually a pansy? And other works that make use of the love, or healing potion theme are Wagner’s Tristan und Ysolde (Opera), Rapunzel! (Fairy Tale and awesome Disney movie) and the ultimate in healing benefits, the Holy Grail—which then brings us to Parsifal, and Indiana Jones, which brings us to Hiram Bingham, and . . . You get my meaning. Tracking inspiration is so fun! Do you have any ideas what would be a good format for such a project? As Instagram doesn’t really let me link, I wonder if all I would need a blog for this. Is there any better app for this kind of thing? #shakespeare #amidsummernightsdream #trackinginspiration #dailycreativity #procreateillustration https://www.instagram.com/p/CCov43xnmsK/?igshid=j3mcsd6yda9o
