An Introduction
Hello! This is the official account for an object show called The Race to 2048, in which 18 people have become stranded on a desolate planet and are trying to not only get back home, but return with a critical resource that their home planet is nearly entirely out of.
In an effort make escaping more efficient, the objects 'compete' to see who can help the most in getting them off the planet by collecting resources and completing challenges to survive.
There are no recovery centers, nor magic powers, nor even a lifeline home. The most everyone has is themselves, their skills, eachother and the supplies on the ship.
The story is primarily centered around the characters and the worldbuilding, with the competition only serving, to the viewer, as a means of conveyance.
Among the additional pieces of content is a diegetic conlang (in which canonically the characters speak as opposed to the English that the viewers hear!) and a developing pantheon of gods.
Over time, there will be further posts noting progress working on the show and various doodads/whats-its that are made! And hey, feel free to ask some questions about this world! :D
