yo, I am not returning to tumblr but I seem to be having some sort of fandom renaissance. Been rereading my own fics and comments I got on them and like... reminiscing?? and then I saw someone's AO3 icon that I thought might be fanart of Penny Drops and had to come track it down. (it wasn't 😂) and then just was doing a deep dive of Ky-landfill's amazing fanart and... then thought I would just throw a post out there that I have been wroking on Penny Drops recently, and like actually making good progress I think.
I had such horrible writers block with that fic for the longest time, redrafted the ending i don't know how many times and then would just get stuck all over again after managing one more chapter. But. I think this is the one maybe??? It has felt a lot easier to get out, it's flowing, I'm liking my ideas and what I have planned and it doesn't feel like any of the details are "off".
And also. There is. So much left of this fic *cries*. form what I have here I'm guessing 50k like, at least.... If any of my old readers are even still in this fandom lmao I just thought I would put it out there<3 Hopefully you will see something from me in the next..... I shouldn't give a timeframe. six months? 😂I'm trying to get the entire rest of it drafted before I start the rewrite and so you'll have to wait until at least then.
To muse a bit on this because this fic has shifted gears so many times and so drastically there are things I really wish I had a chance to forshadow in the earlier chapters lol. I have thought about going back and adding things to it for that exact reason but I don't have to bandwidth to do it now and I figure I might once it's finished but... it may simply stay the way it is too. These are the risks we take when we post stuff before it's complete I guess lol.
