An unexpected kamen rider toybox update, commissed by Future past, presenting the mysterious Kamen rider Wind Up
I wasn't expecting to add more riders before id even finished the pilot comic, but when you get paid to do it ya kinda have to! XD
Future past wanted a ballerina music box themed rider, and i did my best to deliver.
I wanna state now, Wind-up would not be the tertiary rider, if anything were to come of this concept, she'd probably be an extra rider/antagonist of one of the specials. Not sure which.
Enigmatic, graceful, and silent as a mouse, Kamen Rider Wind-up was a rather strange character to appear. Unlike Kitbash, who quickly proved himself an allie to toybox, Wind-up has never taken any action against the toy kaijin. If anything, her only desires after appearing seemed be observing and fighting with the other riders. The reason for this is unknown...
She transforms with the Wind-up driver
A smaller device that seems to follow the same principles as the toybox driver, though a bit more clock-work in its construction. The most apparent difference is it employs the use of a wind-up key instead of a hand crank.
Its yet another strange driver based on Dr. Carlo's intial design, that was built without his knowledge.
I didn't initially plan for this addition to my ever evolving lore...but now that it exists, I have a feeling i might get some milage out of it. >:3c
Swan Song is an odd Toyblox for a number of reasons. Obviously, Carlo didn't build her, but thats not the particularly odd part. Swan song was the name of a music box Dr. Carlo made in his younger years, before establishing Starfall Toys as the popular toy manufacturer it is today.
Swan Song had a limited run, little success and was ultimately swallowed by the years. So it begs the question... Who would know enough about Swan Song to make a toyblox of it?
