On Sept 11, 2001, I was having breakfast at this Bob’s Big Boy in Walnut, CA. I had about 15 techs all having breakfast when we saw what was happening on the TV. We thought it was a joke. No way could that happen here, on American Soil. I ended up cancelling all jobs, sending our guys home. Nobody knew what to do. Planes were searched and like many of us, I sat watched the towers fall on TV.
