Huh, who's Graves? Haven't heard of that one yet. Hello - @wryndow
Greetings. I seem to be someone who is exclusive to this timeline, from what I have seen. Which is quite interesting.
I'm a former Nexus scientist, much like Dr. Hofnarr and Dr. Christoff. I did, however, leave much like they had. Though, not at the same time as when they had; a year or two afterwards, I believe.
And I was much more important then those two. It is why I had originally joined the AAHT, the Agency for simplicity's sake. I required protection from being hunted down by the Nexus Core and dragged back to them.
But, I have come to understand I cannot hide from them forever. So if they find me, let them. I won't be fearing them. Not again.

"Okay. Oh-KAY! Holy shit!" Media can be heard setting down something on a table. Likely her laptop case, judging by the zipper being audibly unzipped. "I'm... actually home free. Or whatever."
Media starts audibly setting herself up in... wherever she is setting up. Likely that Radio Tower she had mentioned in her last post. Predictably, seeing as it's Nevada, the peace doesn't last very long.
Familiar claws against the floor of the small, abandoned radio station building can be heard; Christoff has clearly finished with distracting Media's former bosses (Auditor & Monitor), and has come to check on Media. However, another set of footfalls is audible. Heavy, clicking of large metal heels against the tiled floor. "Wha- JEB, WHAT THE HELL?!"
"WHHATTTTT? OLLIE WANTED OUT TOO! IT JUST LOOKS LIKE I KIDNAPPED IT IN ORDER TO FINALLY KILL IT LIKE IT DESERVES!" Christoff audibly walks over to Media, and plops himself onto the desk. "BESIDES, I THOUGHT YOU LIKED THIS PINT-SIZED SYCOPHANT, MI-MI!"
Media just blubbers and flounders in confusion and surprise for a moment, but cuts herself off, likely by Graves holding up a hand to make her shut up.
"That is enough." The voice of Dr. Oliver L. Graves is smooth, formal, soothing almost, if not for the subtle, almost manic undertones of a being that has constantly been at the end of its sanity for years on end. "Dr. Christoff is... unfortunately correct."
"SO YOU CCAAAAAAAAANNNNN SAY I'M RIGHT ABOUT THINGS! HOW INTERESTING, I THOUGHT THAT WAS BIOLOGICALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU OLLIE!"
Graves makes a noise of pure disgruntlement in the back of its throat, but clears it and proceeds to speak again. "Disregarding the instability in the room, I have come to accompany you in this... Dissenting endeavor of yours. It's something both I and Dr. Christoff are familiar with."
"You? You're familiar with defecting from places?"
"You think that the Nexus Core let me go willingly?"
There is a brief, tense silence at the question being posed. It says enough.
"Well. You were incorrect. They did not. I imagine they might still be trying to hunt me down after all these years. Pathetic of them, really."
Media sighs, and goes back to setting herself up in her new residence. "... Yeah, got it. we're a right target, ain't we? Funnnnn... Totally very fun."
