#gettingtoknowyou day 30: As I'm spending the weekend in ny with family, I was reminded of the time sam and I visited the beach and there was a shark siting. While the two of us were wading in the ocean, we heard an alarm going off and watched people walk onto the sand and stand there talking (no went running out or anything). We shrugged at each other and kept wading in the water. By the time we made it back up to beach to meet up with my cousin again, people were back in the water. So when she asked us if we heard the shark alarm go off we stared blankly at her until it clicked that everyone got out of the water because there was a shark spotted...and we stayed in without even thinking to ask what was going on. Oops. Guess our tourist was showing that day... #junechallenge #beachvisit #touristfail
