“Sorry,” She says, though the comment comes out from under her breath. Working in a cafe doesn’t get any easier when customers get fussy, and she figures when one gets her attention, chances are: it’s about to get messy. Maybe they’ll even force her to call on a manager. “Was your order alright? Or... Is there something I can get you?” 

Takane rummaged through the pockets of her shirt, her skirt, and even the ones on her backpack, annoyance flickering through her eyes--though that was nothing new. She was only twenty-five cents short of buying a soda, and to be frank, she could use some caffeine.

Doctor’s orders be damned; who cared if it threw off her sleeping schedule? She was tired, but didn’t want to sleep, so caffeine was the best solution. She’d just have to be careful to not be seen by any teachers.

Spotting a classmate in the school’s halls--classes were out for today--, Takane drew his attention with a curt word or two.

“Hey, Kamijou.”

Not exactly a sight you see every day. Such a young and rather lean looking girl wielding a weapon like her's. After she had obtained gambol shroud, she hadn't given much thought as to when she would so commonly use it. There were not many creatures to slay unless the scientists themselves had released them. And she certainly wasn't looking to pick any fights.

But it seems as though people were willing to test her abilities, doing so by mocking her for having such a large arsenal strapped to her back.
