Touch typing has saved my stupid baka autistic brain
I really struggled with handwriting since like always and my brain just thought twice as fast as my hand so I ended up with a rough scribble even when writing paciently.
When I started touch typing I felt like being released from huge steel shackles. If you're autistic and somewhat relate to this "brain working faster than hand" look into it you won't regret it.
For my own edification: Can you touch type?
No
Yes
Reblog for other writeblrs to see and whatever
Genuinely curious to know who out there, especially other writers, can touch type.

Things I‘ve learned this summer:
Basic Python - I‘ve been meaning to do this for ages and I have started doing the Google Python class which has already taught me quite a bit.
Touch-typing - I am not very good yet but I try to practice every day. I use tipp10 to train and 10fastfingers to track my progress.
How to organize stuff in Notion - Notion is a real game-changer since it allows me to have all my notes in one place. I’ve also started consuming media more consciously by taking notes on things I read and watch.
Basic Norwegian - I can’t really explain why I started learning Norwegian (I blame Skam and Erling Haaland) but it’s been very fascinating. I mainly use Duolingo now but I plan on using other resources.
Hope this was interesting to some of you :) I plan on posting more regularly now that uni is starting again. Please feel free to share some new interests and hobbies you've picked up this summer!
If only I had known back then...
...that school was the most carefree time of my life, I would have enjoyed it more.
...how Apple shares would perform, I wouldn't be broke today.
...what permanent back pain feels like, I hadn't let it get to that point.
...how much alcohol I can tolerate, I would often have had an easier time in the morning.
...that the most important decisions are irreversible, I often would have thought better - before.
...that learning is easier when you are young, I would be able to speak Italian and play the piano today.
...that you can also ask for the right way, I would have saved myself a lot of time.
...how stupid mankind can be, I would have emigrated. But to where?
...how present computers would become, I would have learned touch typing.
...how valuable that one great love is, I wouldn't have wasted 30 years.
