This is a somewhat old piece of art that, somehow, doesn't age in my eyes.
Originally i saw "Night Visitor" as a visual of Emile telling stories abotu his travels to Lanfor in the middle of a night, but i ended up making it into a written scene first, before actually making the illustration.
And while it's not canon, the two versions are still inherently connected.
