The context for the Jonathan Frakes telling you you're wrong post (since you asked about it in the tags) is that it's from a show called Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction, where the viewers would be presented with stories and asked if they really happened, in that video he's saying that the stories were fiction, I think there's a companion video out there that's "Jonathan Frakes telling you you're right for 47 seconds", where he says the stories were true
