This is the second excerpt of my favorite choice. It was hilarious.

Also, I'm actually pretty much done with Chapter 2. Let us just pray to Heibao that the coding is finished by the end of the month <3

1. “What are you staring me for? Are you gay or something?”

Silence gathers around the place. Before several blades are withdrawn from the scabbard, others' polearms ready to piece me like a skewer. 

"How could a Zhongguon dog insinuate that the holy prince is, is interested in men!" 

I laugh. "From how he is staring at me, I would think so."

Isn't that right? Look your face, turning all up in disgust. I bet you are feeling repulsed. I watch his face turn, nose scrunched and eyebrows furrowed. If I hadn't known better, I would have thought he was nervous, but this prince is obviously disgusted by me.

Every wrinkle between his eyebrows and the deep scowl along his face bring me so much pleasure that I got to break that dead expression.

1. “What’s the harm in cutting my bindings?” He can look at me like that as long as he wants.  “And why should your bindings be cut?” I feel like I’m about to pass out…I heave out a breath and shake my head.

1.2 “What’s this? Is the prince scared of a broken-armed, injured, filthy, smelly soldier? Your beautiful, exquisite eyes can’t look at such an unkempt dog?” “You…” Finally. That overly soft, uncharacteristically calm, tone is cracking.  To be fair though… What I said sounds like I was ogling and admiring his appearance.  I feel my cheeks flush. I’m an idiot. Even the soldiers around me are staring at me with those strange looks!

“Have you rested enough to speak? It matters not how long you choose to keep quiet. Time is never a matter of dire concern for me.” His expression turns deadly, like a needle to a nerve. My back presses tightly onto the wall, the open wounds numb from the cold. “By the time my goal is achieved, your life is but a leaf in winds of war.”

His gaze observes every little thing he can see. His eyes stray to mine again, and unknown, almost primordial, presence engulfs me. I try to speak and move; all I can manage is to look upon his deadly face, and for a moment, I notice a glint of violet swirls in his eyes. For as long as I have seen, it disappears just as fast. Like an ephemeral lightning.
