For as much as I adore the newest Star Trek movies (and it's a lot, because I think they've all done well with a similar yet AU version of the Star Trek universe), I will say that my one major let down was the portrayal of the the Klingons. I thought that in that movie, the thing I'd have all the issue with was Khan because Khan is my absolute favorite of the Star Trek villains and when I found out they were redoing him, even with my liking of Eggs Benedict Cummerbund as an actor, I was just too irritated that they chose Khan of all peeps to mess with. But I ended up really liking Cumberbatch's portrayal and was all excited to see the Klingons unveiled too, only to have a wah wah wahhhhh moment when the first one took his helmet off and just... looked so wrong with all those stupid head ridge piercings. Not to mention their lack luster outfits and the entirety of five seconds they remained on screen before Khan wiped them out (which yeah, I understand from a story standpoint considering Khan is a genetically engineered super soldier and he did take them by surprise), but come on, they were on the Klingon home world and had the potential to be so badass, so I was (and still am, every time I watch the movie) pretty disappointed. I really hope that if they make more new Star Trek films (which I hope for there too because as said, I've really liked them all), they'll do better when it comes to my sweet baby Klingon loves, though I guess I'll always have tos thems to fall back on if they don't 😅 #startrek #tosstartrek #theundiscoveredcountry #klingons #nerdythings #foreverlove

Finally made a “These are the voyages...”-necklace for myself. I started it in March and were making it in between other progects. Now it’s done. Yay) And now I have personal tiny Enterprise NCC-1701 :D
