i’ve never been good at apologies.

TASK 3:

Dear mom. I know you’re dead and gone and probably deserved whatever came to you even though no one will tell me, but I still gotta say, thanks for being a mom to me. The few years we got to spend together really made me who I am today, and if it weren’t for your general neglect of the norms I really wouldn’t be able to express myself properly these days. So, since I know this is never gonna get read, I’ll just keep it short. You weren’t the best but you were still kinda my mom, and I miss you a little. So, much love, your only kid. Clove.

TASK 4: 

1. Clove’s mom died the year they left for college. No one told them how she died and wouldn’t let them attend the funeral.

2. Clove lived in Chicago for the four years they attended college, but moved to Toronto before they actually graduated. Their diploma was sent to them in the mail.

3. Clove used to go to drag shows when they were a teen, and that’s how they began to explore gender. They may be a little disappointed there aren’t any good shows near them.

4. Clove doesn’t have a preference of gender when it comes to romance and sex, though it seems they platonically love more women and sexually love more men.
