Health note of the day…. Working in #fidi over the past year I’ve learned a few things. 1. Best coffee will probably take a few blocks but so worth it (budget $50 a week) 2. Lunching solo or friends is some families monthly grocery budget in just one sitting 3. Eating healthy aka #organic #eatclean is avg $20 and limited options. Yes there are great places like #bambooasia or #plant but try finding a power greens salad anywhere under $10 it's like a treasure hunt. When I am in go mode, I barely even have time to stuff my face as I walk to the next meeting. Which leads into… 4. Walk, it’s great exercise both physically, mentally and don’t forget those senses. We live in a beautiful city surrounded by art, creative people and you just never know what’s around the corner. That lyft or uber will probably take twice as long and you just added another $200 to your budget that could be spent on God knows else you can splurge on yourself! Finally, this brings me to my practice of #selflove in the photo is my Chia pudding with bananas, cashew butter, almond milk and Bay Area raw honey, power greens with vegan Cesar dressing topped with nutritional yeast and a thermos filled with puerh tea to fill my day with protein, energy and conscious eating. When preparing a meal for yourself it allows conscious effort to fill you with nutrition for your body and soul. Mindful eating is a meditation to bring a small dose of gratitude, inner calmness and love into our hectic daily lives! I still stopped in for my beloved #bluebottle cold brew #bestie break with @cmlee1984 #friendtherapy Just thought I’d share some wisdom and insight on mindful practices that help ground my life and bring harmony towards #tornadoejess and all of my #adventures Happy #humpday everyone and sending you #blessings on your journey!
