after the events of โthe devil and peter torkโ peter is struggling big time. mike feels terrible and despite everything instinct he has telling him its a bad idea he decides to take peter to the shelter and let him pick out any animal he wants as a pet. peter is so happy and so touched he bawls and picks out a very nice calico kitty. mike is relieved because its just one cat and sheโs a nice girl and she doesnโt seem overly energetic. they can handle it!
three weeks after they take her home she gives birth to litter of kittens. peter cries again. mike is just thankful that theyโre happy tears
