I love these fanfic asks! How about 7, 14 and 21?
Oooh, they’re all multiples of 7! It makes me so happy!
7) early influences: The first books I can remember really going completely bonkers over in a fannish way were Madeline L’Engel’s Wrinkle in Time series, Tolkien’s LOTR series, and Robin McKinley’s Damar series. I’ve probably read those books dozens of times over. They actually hold up pretty well to rereading, too!
14) easiest character to write: VICTOR NIKIFOROV VICTOR NIKIFOROV VICTOR NIKIFOROV next question
21) least favorite character to write: Oh, huh, interesting. I don’t think there’s anyone in the YOI verse that I dislike enough to say I wouldn’t want to write them? They’re all interesting and complex and have their own reasons to persist and win in the story? If I go back to Harry Potter, I really hated writing Cho Chang because I felt she was Done Wrong by the Canon, but that’s a separate thing, and maybe not least favorite to write. But honestly, if I’d ever gotten a really good headcanon on Cho I would have gone to town on that.
I dunno, either a character is likable in canon and I don’t mind writing them, or they’re not likable in canon and that means I can do all kinds of things with them.
