I’m honestly not sure how to answer this question because there are a lot of angles for it to be answered from

I talk a lot about it here I suppose but I think the main thing was that Alistair made Tori laugh, he made her happy when she had just lost so much. and then when Alistair lost what Torania knew was basically his family (Duncan and the wardens) She explected him to stop being funny. to become unhappy like her and stop making her laugh…. But he didn’t… and Torania at that point decided Alistair was basically the strongest man in the world. 

As for Torania I think complimenting him to no end helped, As did the fact that she needed him and he knew it

Oh man so many ways!

Torania’s favorite color is without a doubt purple. However she does not get much of a chance to wear it. Growing up Torania was often dressed in Cousland colors (namely blue) And fereldan furs.

As a warden her armor was mostly blue and silver

Then shortly after taking the throne Torania and Alistair put a tariff on imported fabrics and such. The goal was to help Ferelden recover economically after the blight. This is why there is such a difference between the noble clothing we see Fereldans in in Origins and the clothing we see them in in DAI.

Torania and Alistair wear Fereldan made clothing and fabrics. which come in colors much more simple than the silks and such that could be imported from other nations.
