Blissed-Out  Heartfelt Super-Pop. Kevin Parker does it again with this incredibly produced collection of songs that take Tame Impala even further down the pop worm-hole. Still very psychedelic. 10/10 Good Track: Reality In Motion

2. Pond - Man It Feels Like Space Again

Like Tame Impala, these Aussie nut-jobs are polishing their sound of delivering their most clean, well produced album to date. Some of their best song writing shines through this one. 9.7/10 Good Track: Waiting Around For Grace

3. Tamaryn - Cranekiss

Powerful dark tones all over this shoegaze-pop record. Tamaryn's vocals stand out more than ever on these ones. The drums are also very 80s and kick ass! 9.5/10 Good Track: Hands All Over Me

4. Toro Y Moi - What For?

Toro Y Moi gives us his most rock'n'roll album to date while still holding on to the wholesome nostalgic themes of his previous works. These songs also translate great live. 9.3/10 Good Track: Lilly

5. Gum - Glamorous Damage

Jay Watson's of Pond, Tame Impala solo project is a cosmic trip through all sorts of genres and sound effects. Relying on buzzing synths, heavy reverb and drum machines, this thing is for space cadets. 9.2/10  Good Track: Notorious Gold

6. Julia Holter - Have You In My Wilderness

Complex, Spooky, Beautiful, Lush. Just a handful of words you use to describe Julia Holter's Music. This album is by far her most ambitious and probably successful sounding one yet. 9.2/10 Good Track: Lucette Stranded On The Island

7. Painted Palms - Horizons

Painted Palms dive into a more darker new wave sound opposed to the dense, blissful sunshine pop we're used to. Thing still has a lot going on in each track, but it's defiantly a more clean sound, which is a nice breath of fresh air. 9.1/10 Good Track: Glaciers

8. Dungen - Allas Sak

Going back to their roots a little more on this one compared to Skit I Allt's softer, jazzier sound. The guitars on this thing are noisy and loud, but not all the time, it's a good mix of everything Dungen fans have grown to love. 9.1/10 Good Track: En Gang Om Aret

9. Dan Deacon - Gliss Riffer

Dan Deacon is one brilliantly weird motherfucker. He comes through with this catchy, rhythmic, mind-altering trip through his brain noise. 8.7/10 Good Track: When I Was Done Dying

10. Deerhunter - Fading Frontier

After a detour in weirdo garage rock, Cox and company return with producer Ben Allen behind the knobs again, and its pays off big. This album has some of Deerhunter's best songs to date. 8.7/10 Good Track: Take Care
