Notable Albums of 2010
I know that many are thinking that this is too late. Â We are ten days into the year. Â Any thoughts of 2010 seem hopelessly outdated and irrelevant, but oh well. Â These are the albums that stood out to me in 2010. Â I have a very difficult time ordering albums and saying which are better so I will just leave it in no particular order. Â I would have to say that Beach House's "Teen Dream" is pretty close to the top though. Â This year had a lot of fantastic albums and I think it would be easy to bring some other albums into this list and take some others out, so this album could possibly change from day to day. Â It took a lot to be worth noticing this year.
I should also mention that Steve Reich's, "Double Sextet/2x5" was released this year, but well you know it's from 2009 and it won a Pulitzer Prize for it, so we don't need to go overboard in mentioning him again... but I just did so there.
Here you go. Â Cheers.
