I mean, “badass wild little nomad just running around” just about sums everything up 😂😂

If it’s any consolation, I’m just as confused about my life as you are. It helps if you read my posts in Jaskier’s voice, though — I promise you that much.

Basically, I, at the ripe little age of 19, fled my criminally insane family at the start of this year after being pushed to the brink of a neurotic collapse thanks to all their severely stress-inducing ✨antics✨ — This happened in two different intervals; starting with my mother and then my father and older brother (my brother and father have nothing to do with my mother; there’s this weird “two sides against each other” thing in my family, but I being the funky little bard I am recognised they’re all terrible people and left with just my cat and a few dollars)

So, I’ve been homeless around my hometown and country for four months with my cat (a few nice strangers took us in every now and then, as well as a few not-so nice strangers — all a learning curve), and before I left my state I fabricated a whole fake-ass story to my friends about where I was going and what for — gossip spreads quickly and I knew that was the best way for my family to never find me again.

So, everyone thinks I’m in X state doing ABC, when I’m really actually not even on the continent anymore lmao.

It’s called a ✨misdirect✨

It resulted in me being made a missing person, but I found that amusing for many reasons.

I’ve since changed my name, number, and will soon be going back to a flip phone and will also change my license plate.

The only person who knows where I am is the real life equivalent of Gandalf, who predicted my fertile-wise impossible birth and funnily enough, this entire stupidly wild quest. We’re penpals, and he’s old, batty and awesome.

My cat is my best friend and most likely a primordial being akin to Legolas trapped in a feline body. He doesn’t know what’s going on, but is enjoying the ride nonetheless, so long as he has a breeze in his fur with the car windows down as we cruise along. He’s still a bit of a princely diva, though.

I have an ask in my inbox waiting for me to tell the whole coherent story, but I only just got to a place I can stay in for as long as I’d like (well, for as long as I’m working in this small wilderness town on the island at least), and I wanna catch my breath before going over everything again.
