In the modern AU I had an idea for where Obi-Wan is a military general: When Anakin gets sick and invites his college age girlfriend over to the house to play doctor with him, she goes, but not because she's worried, she had TOLD that freaking moron to get out of the goddamn rain last night, but after Anakin's most recent watch of Pride and Prejudice which Padme hates but it makes Ani cry and get all cuddly every time and so she tolerates it with a closed mouth so she can get in some damn snuggles, so Padme comes over to take care of him cause if she doesn't he'll probably do something stupid like die or whatever.
Anyways, so Padme comes over and Anakin is excited to play doctor with her cause He Likes Dominant Women and he's a randy teenager with nothing else to do while sniffling and napping all day long.
At least, he was excited to play doctor with her... until she decided that rectally taking Ani's temp is OBVIOUSLY the most accurate way. And then??? Then he's REALLY excited???????
So anyways that's how Padme survived all through his teen years without getting knocked up because Anakin didn't top a single time till she got pregnant, the end, Obi-Wan is very happy not to be a grandpa this young, thanks Padme.
