Converse x Todd Snyder Jack Purcell Collection
For his first collaboration with Converse, menswear designer Todd Snyder celebrates the ethos of the world-class badminton player Jack Purcell with an irreverent, elevated collection of apparel and sneakers that encompass Jack’s cheeky attitude and appreciation for life.
Launching on Thursday, May 20th, this is the most comprehensive collection to date of apparel and sneakers inspired by Jack Purcell, with a dozen styles including track suits, polos, rugby shirts, sweatshirts, ball caps, and two new versions of the Jack Purcell sneaker.
Today, to announce the collection, Snyder revealed an energetic video campaign centered on the tagline “You Don’t Know Jack,” spotlighting a diverse collective of individuals who each embody the spirit of a champion, while breaking barriers in their fields – from legendary producer DJ Clark Kent, to principal ballet dancer James Whiteside, WNBA star Natasha Cloud, Olympic fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, and more.
Throughout the video, each person uses “Jack” as the embodiment of their identity, exploring who “Jack” is for them – shedding stereotypes, revealing elements the public does not know them for, and how they broke down boundaries in their respective realms of influence. Each person has a unique expression, but all are unified by an irreverent, unexpected approach and love of life.
The Converse x Todd Snyder Jack Purcell collection will launch globally on Thursday, 5/20 on
