“There is no need to do this.” he was trying to convince the overly eager group of Hufflepuffs who were demanding he kiss Tomas that a mistletoe isn’t a legally binding contract and that they are allowed to walk away. When someone pointed out the mistletoe, he had turned to the person by his side planning on simply kissing their cheek and walking away but when he saw it was Tomas he changed course. 

He is pretty sure Tomas hates him. 

“Really! You don’t need to do what the mistletoe, or the crowd tells you!”
