Falling in love with your girlfriend's brother is never a good idea, especially when you just can't hide it anymore, and it's prom night, too.

Now, Golden isn't a bad guy, he was going to break up with Toddy, but he definitely didn't want her to spend a bad prom, it's her first high school prom ever!

The bad stuff started after the party, Golden offered to take her to his place to sleep, she was still in her prom dress, he hanged his coat on his desk's chair, and threw himself onto his freshly made bed.

"tired?" Toddy asked, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"look, tonight was nice, great even, I just gotta tell you something -"

"you've been kissing my brother."

Golden blinked twice.

"How- How did you-"

"We kinda live In the same house, I was going to notice it sooner or later."

Golden brought himself up so he was also sitting, and hid his face in his hands.

"don't be embarrassed, I don't mind."

"Toddy, we're breaking up right now."

"yeah, and I don't mind." The girl answered, putting a hand on the boy's shoulder. Golden just couldn't understand, why isn't she angry right now? Is it possible for Toddy to be actually this good at hiding her anger? Wait, was that mean?

"it's okay if you have different tastes... if I were you I'd think twice about getting with Freddy, but hey, if I'm not the girl for you, don't force yourself." Toddy slowly moved her hand, almost caressing the boy's shoulder.

"so... You're not mad at me?" Golden asked after a minute of silence, now looking at Toddy in the eyes.

"of course not." Toddy simply answered, Golden was honestly fearing for a slap in the face.

Yeah it never came, but Toddy did confess to be in love with Golden's cousin before she walked out of his mansion, as she called her mom and she came to take her home.
