The resurgence of the boat shoe as a must-have item for 2024 finds its pinnacle in this collaboration. Snyder's reimagination of the silhouette arrives just in time for a summer defined by understated luxury. The Sperry x Todd Snyder Authentic Original Boat Shoe boasts premium craftsmanship, featuring meticulously sourced suede uppers and self-matching rawhide laces inspired by Snyder's travels along Italy's Amalfi Coast. Drawing from the rich textures and earthy tones found along the coastline, this collaboration exudes sophistication.

Inspired by Todd’s first pop-up on New York’s Elizabeth Street, Snyder’s limited-edition New Balance 237 “City Gym” pays homage to a time when the palette for workout clothes was gray and gray — a color scheme that looks chic on this waffle- treaded throwback to 70s-era running shoes.

The silhouette of the sneaker is the 237, New Balance’s contemporary reinterpretation of ‘70s running heritage that melds a range of heritage design inspirations into one deceptively simple, exceptionally versatile, contemporary silhouette. 

Details include an oversized, chenille ‘N’ and satin-and-suede body. In a nod to vintage running shoes, the tongue is made of exposed foam layered in ripstop nylon, while the interior is lined in terry cloth (like the inside of your favorite sweatshirt). This sneaker taps into everything we love about old-school athletic style and presents it in a new-school way.

AMERICA’S LEADING MENSWEAR DESIGNER JOINS FORCES WITH FOOTJOY FOR A NEW COLLECTION CALLED “THE LINKS” FEATURING POLOS, SWEATERS, SWEATS, TROUSERS AND GOLF SHOES

How would golf’s most iconic players from the Sixties and Seventies dress if they stepped onto the links today? The answer is this fall’s Todd Snyder x FootJoy Collection. Titled “The Links,” the collection was inspired by the old-school, “links” style coastal courses of Scotland, and the styles borrow traditional British menswear patterns and place them in modern, technical fabrics.

Building on FootJoy’s almost 100 year history as a leader in performance and comfort, Snyder designed a capsule collection of polos, hoodies, cardigans, varsity jackets, trousers and golf shoes that are inspired by vintage golf style yet reinvented for the modern gent. Snyder is no stranger to the game of golf. For the designer, golf was a way to spend quality time with family. Says Snyder, “When I was little, I caddied for my dad and my grandpa. I never had golf shoes until I was big enough to wear my dad’s, and he wore FootJoy. So I associate them with family time and comfort. I still remember how comfortable my dad’s shoes were.”

FootJoy had wanted to work with Snyder in part because of his successful track record of collaborating with American heritage brands including L.L. Bean, Champion, and Timex to name a few. After the success of their previous collaborations, it made sense for America’s leading menswear designer to join forces again with FootJoy, who have been the choice of well-shod golfers since Walter Hagen wore their spikes as captain of the American Ryder Cup team in 1927.

FootJoy and leading menswear designer, Todd Snyder have partnered to unveil The Blues Collection. This collection marks the second collaboration in successive years between the two organizations and includes golf shoes, polos, sweats and trousers. The Blues Collection launches May 19th at 10AM ET and will be available on FootJoy.com, ToddSnyder.com and select Todd Snyder retail locations.

This latest FootJoy X Todd Snyder collaboration delivers a vintage-inspired, performance-oriented collection that looks equally sharp on and off the course. Key patterns include both blue camouflage and a vintage FootJoy logo; key fabrics include a proprietary pique and performance blend for polos and a stretch seersucker that breaks away from its preppy past and shows up in drawstring pants and shorts.

Todd Snyder and Converse have teamed up again to create a thoroughly modern mash-up of streetwear and traditional gentleman’s fabrics (tartans and British Millerain’s water-resistant waxed cotton).

Rebel Prep is an 18-piece collection, which includes rugby shirts, track suits, hoodies and parkas. At the heart of it are Snyder’s fresh takes on two iconic Converse sneakers. The Chuck 70 Hi Top and the Jack Purcell Ox are remade in a waxed canvas pattern from British Millerain. (British Millerain has been making water-resistant fabrics for outdoorsmen and the military since the 19th Century.)

“The collection was inspired by the way that artists, rock stars and other rebels effortlessly mix sportswear with more sartorial styles,” says Snyder.

The opportunity to purchase the limited-edition Chuck 70 Hi Top will be offered in a raffle. The raffle opens on January 20th and closes on January 24, 2022 at 11:59AM ET.
