When Jake and Neytiri's youngest daughter was born, Jake expected her to be even a little bit like him, but no. You were born completely your mother's daughter from your features, to your hands, to your attitude. Especially your personality.
You had the tendency to hiss at people that annoyed you even over the littlest of things, like Lo'ak taking a toy from you, or Neteyam trying to tell you it's time for a nap, you would bare your little fangs and hiss at them- it honestly reminded Jake of when he first met Neytiri. You also had the bad habit of slapping people, having watching your mother slap Jake upside the head countless of times.
"(Name) you need to take a nap." Jake stood in front of his four year old, his large blue hands planted on his waist. You looked up at him with your large, yellow eyes and proceeded to hiss at your father before taking your toy- and plopping yourself down into your mother's lap.
Jake sighed, scratching the back of his neck as he walked over to his mate and youngest. Neytiri didn't seem phased by her youngest, just continued weaving a top she had been making for Kiri. "Come on, up you get." Jake announced, tucking his hands under your armpits and lifting you up - only to get smacked in the face.
Hey yall this my first ever fic, be nice. Sorry it's short.

Can you please do more toddler reader we’re the girls are in the middle of a concert but yn wants Manon so she is screaming and crying and management doesn’t know what to do so they try to distract her with stuff but while they aren’t paying attention yn sneaks out onto the stage and is running around while the girls are trying to catch her.
“We got a runner!”
pairing: mom!manon bannerman x toddler!reader
warnings: crying, fluff
a/n: mom!manon is literally in the lead LMAO 😭 still have 45 min to vote but take this as a treat!!
The concert was energetic—bright lights, loud sounds, exciting crowds. The girls soaked in every moment with immense joy radiating off them, a warmth of love wrapping around. Manon was catching her breath from finishing MIA. They were preparing to do the next song on their set list, the fans’ energy was unmatched.
You, with oversized headphones tucked around your little ears, were watching from a chair behind stage in the care of Missy. She was scrolling on her iPad, making sure everything was in check. Her free hand slips from your shoulder and in that moment, your little brain said, ‘mommy’.
Tears form in your eyes as Manon dances across the stage, unaware of the chaos erupting back stage now. Your little lungs are screaming out, bawling, and the whole crew was panicking. They tried food, water, toys. Nobody but Manon or the girls were allowed to hold you so when Missy attempted, you screamed bloody murder.
She sets you down immediately, and your little legs take off. Headphones fall to the floor as you waddle, faster than anybody predicted, onto the stage. The spotlight is on you and your eyes are glued to the Ghanaian woman standing in the far corner of the stage with her chest heaving up and down out of breath.
The crowd catches the girls’ attention—pointing and screaming in confusion and awe when you run on. Daniela spots you first, eyes widening as she begins to chase you.
“We got a runner!” She yells into her mic, making grabby hands and calling for you. “Y/N! Baby, come here!”
Manon hears your name and turns around to watch the scene unfold. You’re avoiding the girls, all five of them, like obstacles in Donkey Kong with only one objective in mind: get to mommy.
Megan ran into Yoonchae, bumping heads together in the process of trying to dive for you. Lara gave up and was a giggling mess on stage. Daniela was full blown panicking and Sophia stood there like a disappointed parent.
Finally, you made it to Manon and jumped into her arms. She holds you immediately, wrapping arms around your little body and cradling you against her chest.
“Mommy!” You scream into happiness, the mic carrying it through the stadium. The crowd collectively coos at the sight.
Manon simply smiles, kissing your rosy cheeks and brushing your curly hair back. “Sweetheart, mommy’s working, remember?”
“Mhm.” You hummed, hand in your mouth now as you look around with big, curious eyes.
Sophia walked over, tickling you slightly. “Let’s get her on stage and put this headphones back on.” She turns to the fans. “What do y’all think?”
Every chant was positive and encouraging. Megan runs back stage, returning with headphones and placing them over your head. You’re sat on a stool in the center of the stage now and ‘My Way’ begins to play—coincidentally your favorite song.
Manon sings to you like you’re her whole world, because you are, and the fans had a front row view of this rare sight.
As much as I love reading neglected reader stories, I'd also love to read about beloved reader stories! Gimme stories where reader is the unspoken favorite of the family, scenarios like:
"I've got a ballet recital later but the tickets are only for 2 family members..."
Cue to the batfam forming teams and having debates on who deserves the tickets more, slowly descending to madness and a possible brawl where the winning pair gets the tickets.
scenario 2:
Reader wakes up in the middle of the night due to a nightmare
The batfam in the batcave seeing reader through the cameras with her teary eyes and tiny hand clutching to a blanket, thinking of which batfam member's room to go to for comfort. The batfam is shoving each other, running to be the first to comfort reader.
'She's sleeping in my room tonight!' they all think
scenario 3:
Reader is highly focused in making an arts and crafts project for school, Dick, curious about what she's doing asks what the theme is,
"My teacher told us to make our hero out of recycled materials!"
The batfam freezes and glares at each other.
'I'm their hero!' they silently tell each other
They then proceed to try to one up each other in winning reader's favor. After an exhausting week of competing with each other, they finally get to see the fruits of their labor in reader's school, scanning through the multiple projects they finally see their name written in crooked crayon... it's the Flash, the Flash is Reader's hero.
"Why??" Tim asks "Your big bro is a genius and the one who helped you with your math homework the past week"
"Cuz he-" Reader then gets distracted by their friend and runs off to play with them.
"Wait! wait! I need to know!" Tim yells in agony, too bad Reader is already playing house with their friends, already forgetting what they were talking about with Tim.
Guess we'll never know
Scenario 4:
Reader's a bit more grown, in middle school.
Reader got in trouble. Why? She defended someone against a bully and then SHE got in trouble for retaliating. She's sniffling outside the principal's office with a bruise and a pouty face, [choose which batfam member goes] sees Reader in her state and asks why she did it.
"They were hurting someone who was smaller than them and couldn't defend themselves...I wanted to be a hero like you" She says with the biggest tear-filled puppy dog eyes.
[Bat member sees red and either: goes off on the principle oooooor...calmly shows their rage with ice-cold revenge]
Imagine if it was Jason lol hahaha
I'd write more but I can't think of any at the moment, I'll probs send more when I think of some! 💕 I'd love to see your take on this 😊

Later at home:

Principal: Hello, Mr. Todd, we need to discuss—
Jason: I already paid for her lunch, bought the school, and fired the big kid’s dad. Wanna keep talking?
Reader (from his hip): I gots a popsicle 😋
Jason: She’s a hero. And heroes get popsicles.
Bonus:

Alfred (noticing the silence): Sir… have you seen the young miss?

Bruce (tucking her in): Next time, take me with you.
Summary: As a social worker, Nancy can't seem to find a foster family for you. When she seems lost, there is perhaps one solution. Steve finding himself unfitting, protests at every way, till he melts. Wanting nothing more than to give you happiness. [part 2]
Nancy’s gaze softened with sympathy at the three-year old in her office. Worrying little about the world. Simply kicking her legs back and forth on the waiting couch, tongue sticking out in focus as the drawing got coloured vigorously with markers. It was a pain for her.
She loved her job, but at times like these, she weighed the other side of the coin. Sighing soft, she moved her gaze down. Crossing another family’s name with a red stift. She was reaching the end of her page and she hated it. There had been no results yet.
Mustering up some new courage, she lifted her spirit. Showing that working polite smile on her lips. Reaching for the horn, to call. Dialing the number, her gaze flashed briefly to you. Still unbothered by the world around you.
Upon hearing the phone being answered, Nancy spoke. “Evening, Mrs. Rover. It’s Nancy Wheeler. I was wondering if I could talk to you for a moment.” Barely leaving any interrupting breath between her words. “Do you remember signing up for foster care, a year ago. Well you’re in luck. I’ve got the sweetest three-year old that could use your help.”
It was a rehearsed speech, she could ramble in her sleep. Her thought of train got interrupted by Mrs. Rover cutting through. Shaking her. “Oh…you…you no longer wish to apply for foster care. Forgotten about the application…I understand. That's alright.” The tone in her voice clearly lowered with the loss of hope. Before she could utter a proper goodbye, the phone died.
She glanced stunned at the horn. Her gaze catching you, stare back at her. Musterring up that lost smile, she produced it once more. “Few more to go.” She spoke trying to sound as spirited as she could. Your gaze lowered back to your drawing.
Nancy exhaled soft, laying the horn down. She knew you were no fool, neither was she. She knew you could understand the disappointment. The rejections one by one. Yet she couldn’t help herself but lie around it. With her red stift, she crossed out the name. Barely any names left, she knew she wasn’t getting anywhere.
Options were running thin. Bringing you back to your parents was out of the question. They were never around. It was the drop when Nancy found out that they had left you alone while they were out for a weekend. Thinking a three-year-old could fend for her own, with the neighbour, bless her heart, come to check in from time to time.
You needed out, that was clear. Sighing again, she moved her hands up her cheeks to her hair. At the brink of ruffling her fingers roughly through them with a scream of agony. Something she couldn’t do in front of you, for she was the adult here.
Nancy whirled every possible name in her head. Trying to find a good match. Any match at this point. Her eyes briefly widened. A sudden thought crossed her mind. A far-stretch, but a possible thought. I mean she had heard him profess his fondness for her brother and his friends many times. Why not….
Nancy got up, going around her desk to you. “Coats on, Y/n We’re going out.” Nancy addressed you. You put your drawings and markers away. Nancy helped you get your coat on as you waved a drawing at her. “Oh, what’s that?” Nancy marked curious. Taking your drawing.
“For you.” You said, twisting your hips shyly at her. Nancy pressed the drawing to her heart. Getting up, she hung it up to her pinboard. Holding her hand out by the door for you. Running up to her, you took her hand. With a brave face, she walked out of the office.
Ignoring one of her male workers on purpose. He laughed loudly. “See you back in fifteen minutes.” Mocking her. Rubbing it in that she might not find a foster family. That she would come crawling back with the kid to the office.
Nancy huffed loud, pressing her lips together to not slip out an out-burst. She knew he always shoved the pressing matters in her hand. Certainly when it involved taking children away from their homes that were no safe place for them. Outside, she let out an annoying groan. Pausing to look down at you.
Apologizing sheepishly for her un-like-adult behavior. You only chuckled, swinging her arm back and forth. Nancy helped you in the car, taking a deep exhale behind the wheel. Hoping this would work, for it needed to work.
Slowly she drove up the drive-way. Heart beating loudly in her chest. Taking your hand, she walked unsurely to the door. Debating the last in her head. Close to passing out at his doorstep. Nancy moved her hand up to knock.
Linguring for the courage to knock was hard to find. Blinking surprised, she glanced down when there had been knocking on the door. You smiled up to her, moving your hand away from the door. It made her curl up a faint smile. Then her smile changed in fear when the door opened.
“Nancy.” Steve remarked with curiosity. “Hi.” She brought out, moving her hand sheepishly up in greetings. “Hi.” You spoke, standing on one foot, body leaning back against Nancy. Steve’s gaze got drown to you. “Oh, you have a kid.” He commented.
“Steve.” Nancy spoke softly, pleading with her eyes. Steve took another notice. Seeing she was in her working attire. That could only mean one thing. “No…” He began. “Steve…” Nancy pleaded once more, more pressing. “No!” He called out, shaking his head.
“No way Nace.” Waving his hand across in protest. “Steve please, I have nowhere else to go.” Nancy was desperate, not shy to show it. “Her name is Y/n. She’s three years old. Her parents were never there. She needs a home, Steve. Please…It’s…it’s temporary till I find another family.”
Close to getting on her knees, she clasped her hands around his. Begging with every word of hers. Steve glanced down at you. “I don’t know what to do…I’m not mature enough.” Resisting her words for he couldn’t see it.
“Steve, you can do this. Remember you always said you wanted five little nuggets.” Reminding him of a talk they once had. “We were at the brink of terror. I was uttering out anything.” Calling out in response. Nancy crossed her arms, quirking her eyebrow up.
Knowing damn well he was lying now. Steve looked back at you. “I’m not…” Letting out. Words fading out, seeing you curl up a smile at him. “I don’t…” His next words fading out as well. Nancy suppressed the smile at his upcoming change.
Not interfering so he wouldn’t crawl back. Sighing in defeat, his shoulders slouched. Then her smile curled up, giving him a peck on the cheek. “You are the best Steve.”
“Yeah, yeah.” Waving her compliment away. Nancy knelt down to your height. Adjusting your coat. “You’ll be staying with Steve for a while. He’s really nice. I’ll come visit you soon to see how he is doing.” She then moved her head a bit closer to you.
“Keep him in check for me, will you?” Humming soft with a smile. You nodded happily back. Steve stepped aside, opening the door more to you. “Hang your coat away, Y/n.” Steve said with a point to the hallway as you ran inside.
“Stop.” He let out, seeing the cheeky glance in Nancy’s eyes. Assuring him he was a natural. “Temporary, right?” He clarified. Nancy hummed loud. Not giving him much of an answer. “Right?” Steve shouted at her, for she was already making her way back to the car.
Steve closed the door with a heavy sigh. He came sitting down across from you on the sofa. Taking a good look at you, wondering what to do. He sighed softly, leaning forwards, rubbing his hands over his face. Peaking through the gaps of his fingers, hearing you sigh as well. Copying his behavior.
It made Steve push his eyebrow up. You did the same, adding a giggle for this was funny to you. Slowly Steve loosened up. “You hungry Y/n?” He asked, getting up. “Yes!” You called out, coming after him. Steve picked you up to sit on the table. “How about a sandwich with peanut butter?” He asked.
“Bleh!” You responded, making a funny face. Steve laughed, booping you on the nose. The little gesture caught him off guard for a moment. You were exactly five minutes in his home and you already drew this side out of him.
“How about one with jam?” Suggesting afterwards. “Strawberry. Strawberry Jam.” You esthetically called out. Chuckling, he prepared your sandwich. He watched you eat it, sighing playfully at himself. Taking you off the table, he was stomped with another baffled.
How would he entertain you? “So uhm Y/n…what do you want to do?” Asking. You pulled your shoulders up. Steve scratched the back of his head. Diving into his old toy box. Scattering them around for you to pick whatever you liked.
Taking a magazine, he watched you from time to time play. Keep an eye on you. Feeling like he barely knew what he was doing. By nightfall, his head was spiraling with all the things he might have done wrong. Exhaustedly, he led you upstairs.
Making sure you brushed your teeth. When he wanted to help you with your pyjama’s, you took a run for it. Laughing loud. “Y/n! Y/n!” Steve called out, going after you with your pyjama pants. In your underwear, you laughed loud.
Jumping on the bed, bouncing up and down. Showing funny faces at Steve. Steve picked you up, throwing you over his shoulder. It made you shriek out in laughter. “You can’t taunt me now, can you?” Saying teasingly as he gave your back a little pat.
He held you upside down, arm around your stomach. “Will you get in your pyjama’s?” Asking with a smile. “Yes.” You shuddered out in laughter. Steve set you back down, helping you get dressed.
Exhaling exhaustedly, he threw himself on the bed with you. Moving an arm over his eyes. “Read, Read Steve.” You called out. Tapping him on his chest, shaking him awake. Steve groaned softly. Removing his arm briefly to quirk a smile at you. Shielding his eyes once more.
“Steve!” You cried out with excitement. Shaking him more. Steve shot awake, throwing his arms around you. Pretending to nibble on your hands. With a deep breath, he settled beside you. You had collected a book, throwing it on his stomach. “Okay, let’s see.” He began, opening the book.
He lifted his arm more up when you came snuggling against his body. Staring at the scenery for a moment, before lowering his arm. Keeping you in his protective arms. Beginning to read your bedtime story. He was surprised how quick you fell asleep. Not needing much afterwards to fall asleep. One thing was clear in his mind. You weren’t going back to where you came from.
Nancy stepped out of the car with a surprised glance. It was time for her monthly visit. Surprised to meet Steve and you in the park, for that is where he told her they were. Laughing quietly at Steve, wearing his sunglasses. You on his hip, also wearing sunglasses.
Choking up a laugh at how you looked like a mini version of him. He was talking to a girl. Seeing how you worked your most adorable smiles to please the ladies for him. When Steve noticed Nancy, he said his goodbye’s. Making his way over. “I see you’ve settled in quite well.” Nancy commented with a smile.
“I don’t know, I’m just winging it.” Steve replied humbly. “Well, you are doing well.” Nancy answered. Steve took his sunglasses off. Leaning in a bit closer to her. “Please…please don’t tell me you are here to take her away.” His comment made Nancy’s gaze widen.
“Oh, I thought you said, you weren’t cut out for this.” Throwing in a teasing smile at him. “Please…” Steve begged, fear settling in his eyes. Nancy shook her head. “I’m not taking her.”
You cheered loud to her surprise. Steve put back his sunglasses on. Lifting you up above his head with joy. Moving you up and down a few times. Setting you down, you tugged on his pants.
Steve ignored Nancy, coming to run after you. Laughter filled the park making Nancy smile. For she had made the right choice.

Born from a mistake she’s long since tried to bury, Manon has quietly raised her baby (with the help of her aunt) in the City of Dreams. The problem with keeping these two worlds separate? No one in the group even knows Y/N exists. But when circumstances suddenly leave Manon with no choice but to bring Y/N to the dorm, the members of KATSEYE come face-to-face with her mini-me. UNEDITED!
BRUCE - PROTECTIVE
the first time bruce brings you to a gala, you're the center of attention.
"who's this little angel?" everyone asks.
timidly, you cling to bruce's leg. then, as the night drags on, you warm to the guests. bruce is terribly cautious of leaving you alone, especially when it comes to the skanky millionares he's forced to invite sometimes.
so he sticks by you, even as everyone fawns over you. he allows people to get close, but he certaintly never lets anyone carry you. that's where he draws the line.
and when someone gets a little too close, bruce snatches your attention back and tells you to run along to alfred, who is standing on guard in the corner of the room.
JASON/DICK - FUN
who knew jason and dick had such fun friends?
the older you get, the more eager you are to meet the people they're constantly yapping about. jason usually works solo - or tries to - but dick likes to drag him along sometimes.
one day, the boys prepare to leave for a trip to meet up with some former teammates. whether it's a big mission or they're just looking for some time with different people, all you know is that you want to come along.
your tiresome begging works wonders on dick. jason? not so much. but he doesn't have much of a say.
soon, you're in the arms of a ginger-haired man who's letting you play with a big bow, and an orange-skinned woman is letting you toss her bright pink hair around.
there's a green-skinned boy who happens to be the funniest person you've ever met and a shockingly gentle (but sometimes scary) woman in a big purple hood.
sometimes, a man with strange metal legs stops by and reluctantly lets you play with his tools.
they dote on you like there's no tomorrow. dick has strange friends, and even if jason doesn't consider them the same, they're his friends too.
and now, they're yours.

Arlecchino was always careful when she picked up children for House of Hearth. They should be orphans and have qualities necessary to become future soldiers.
You weren't one of this kids. You were a baby, abandoned on the doorstep of House of Hearth. Kids were happy to have a baby around. Arlecchino preferred to take in older kids, not babies. She won't take you in by her own volition. Of course, it's not like Arlecchino could toss you back to streets.
She decided to take you in for now.
Raising babies were hard. You required more attention, than older children. But, as old saying goes, "it takes a village to raise a child". Other children became that village for you.
Despite that, Arlecchino remained your main caretaker.
Arlecchino didn't know what to think about you. You were innocent. She didn't want you to become Fatui. She needed to find you a new family sooner.
Time passed. You grow. You learned to crawl, to walk. And speak.
She was having a dinner with the rest of the kids. You were sitting on a high chair, and she was feeding you. Then suddenly...
"Mama!" you grabbed her finger, giving her a smile.
Kids almost went ballistic.
"Their first world!"
"[Y/N], say Lyney!"
"Say Freminet..."
"Lynette."
Arlecchino just stared at you. She could correct you. She isn't your mother, she shouldn't get attached, why you didn't call her "dada", who told you "mama" world.
After that day a wall broke between you two.
Arlecchino didn't notice, how she became more of a parent, than a caretaker.
A year passed. Second.
You were a part of family, of a village of kids, that helped your mother raise you.
Then one day, someone approached Arlecchino.
Your biological family. You were kidnapped back then. They were searching for you. They asked Arlecchino to return you.
If ot happened when you got to the House of Hearth, Arlecchino would gave you away.
But not now.
Her crimson scythe become redder after that day.
You will stay in House of Hearth. You won't be a Fatui.
Arlecchino was ready to raise her weapon against other Harbingers and Archon.
She might be a Father to others. But for you, and only for you she will be Mother.
