#today's task

today i emptied my suitcase after coming back from holiday last week. (usually it takes me at least a couple weeks to finally do that!)

i am back in bed with a laptop, doing a last-minute writing session on my Uprooted fic. mini-spawn is free-ranging. I think he just made tea for himself? I don’t even know what’s going on out there.

so for reasons that I no longer remember, I am writing a The Matrix / Uprooted fusion fic, which seemed like a really good idea at the time.There’s simply no hope of being serious about it, though I think I can still be respectful to the original work, which is the main thing. At least, the Uprooted part. The Matrix sort of lambastes itself.

I wanted to share the following fragment from my outline.

Scene 2

Agnieszka comes to visit Kasia, wherever the crap she is living

Agnieszka presents her with heartfruit / blueberries, Kasia chooses the heartfruit and goes into the tree

reveal scene with queen of the wood and shit

Some way to hack in the "There is no spoon" bit

Maybe some sort of friendly stick walker who is clearly just Groot

it has a little ways to go i admit.
