A RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED TRIAL OF ORAL NIFEDIPINE AND PARAENTRAL ISOXSUPRINE IN ARRESTING PRETERM LABOUR | Â UTTAR PRADESH JOURNAL OF ZOOLOGY
The success rate of Isoxsuprine in our sample was significantly higher than in the Nifedipine group, but the maternal and foetal side effects were higher in the Isoxsuprine group. Compared to Isoxsuprine, nifedipine is a drug that is better tolerated. The study included 80 patients with a gestational age of 28-36 weeks who were diagnosed with preterm labour. 40 were allocated to the group Nifedipine and 40 to the group Isoxsuprine. Drugs were administered by protocol. Patients were followed before the parameters of delivery and result were measured. Preterm labour has been found to be more prevalent in rural women with low socioeconomic status. Please see the link :- https://mbimph.com/index.php/UPJOZ/article/view/1724
