locking up the door to the bar, jo twisted the keys on her fingers for a moment before turning to start back towards her apartment. this was one of those nights that she’d be usually itching to get back out there, get hunting again to try and force herself to overcome whatever hesitance that she’d been feeling ever since she’d arrived back here in the city. her trigger finger twitched whenever she thought of picking up her gun once more, her confidence shaken at just thinking about fighting something off. she’d rushed into the city with confidence, wanting to go back to the way things had been before - but there were certain things that wouldn’t leave her, the memories of the hellhound ones that wouldn’t leave her. jo looked up, startling for a moment as she noticed another woman waiting just a few steps away. “hi, sorry - you weren’t looking to get into the bar, were you? we’re closed for the night,” she pointed out with a sheepish shrug of her shoulders. “did you need help with something?” / @tocarryon
